The Wolf + The Seeker Single is a result of a musical leap to the Left Coast of San Francisco. Over the course of the last year my 100 year old Omi passed and CARRY HER HOME is dedicated to her. She escaped Berlin in 1939 and was a journey woman ever since.

I recorded the tracks with Kyle Lesley under the Redwoods of Northern California. Kyle set the stage in his recording studio in his cabin in Boulder Creek with warmth (and I snuck in a little whiskey) and generously devoted his electric guitar and Rhodes slinging to these two tracks.

FOOL's GOLD was composed on the front porch of the Main House of the Black Bear Ranch in Northern California. The Black Panthers used to use the garden in the late sixties for shooting practice, and there are, by definition, no rules. So I embraced the mythology and wrote this song, missing someone I left in order to get there.

The blessing of technology allowed me to send the vibe of California to the grit of NYC where Kenevan McConnon shined a finishing light on both tracks.
